This privacy policy applies to Your (as hereinafter defined) use of Ms. Carita, Inc.’s (“MSC”) website, located at WWW.MSCARITA.COM (the “Site”), but not does apply to any third party sites that may be linked to it, or any relationships that You may have with the businesses, individuals or entities listed or advertised on the Site.

The terms “We” and “Us” refer exclusively to MSC. The terms “You”, “Your” and “Yourself” refer exclusively to you, as a user of any portion of the Site. Information use

We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the collection of Personal Information is limited to that which is necessary to fulfill the business purposes of the site. If We use Your Personal Information for a purpose other than those disclosed herein, We will inform You of such use.

Account information. If You create an account in order to take advantage of the full range of services offered on the Site, We ask for and record Personal Information such as Your name, address and e-mail address. We may use Your e-mail address to send You updates and news, and contact You on behalf of other users of the Site (such as other users who send messages to You) if You elect to opt-in to receive such information. You may choose to not receive e-mail of this type by opting-out of such messages at any time.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

We send cookies to Your computer in order to uniquely identify Your browser and improve the quality of Our service. Credit card policy

If You elect to purchase products from MSC through the Site and pay for the same with a credit card, MSC and/or its contractors may retain such credit card information for a short period of time. MSC and/or its contractors periodically delete and remove such User credit card information from MSC’s systems. Credit card data entered online is sent directly from the user’s browser to our credit card processor, our servers never see the card information.

Who we share your data with

We may share Your Personal Information with third parties in order to provide You with services that We offer through the Site, conduct quality assurance testing, facilitate creation of accounts, provide technical and customer support or provide specific services, such as synchronization of Your contacts with other software applications, in accordance with Your instructions. These third parties are prohibited from using Your Personal Information other than to provide the services requested by You.

We may share Your Personal Information with subsidiaries, joint ventures or other companies under a common control (collectively, “Affiliates”) that We may have now or in the future. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Others’ information

You may choose to provide Us with another person’s e-mail address so that that person may be invited to create an account on this website. We use this information in order to contact and, if necessary, remind that person about the invitation. By providing Us with another person’s e-mail address, You represent to Us that You have obtained the consent of the person concerned with regard to such disclosure to Us of their Personal Information. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

As a registered MSC user, You can modify some of Your Personal Information and Your privacy preferences by accessing the “Account” section of the Site.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Your account is password protected. We use industry standard measures to protect the Personal Information that is stored in Our database. Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. We do use Google Analytics to collect site usage data, and any data collected would fall under their privacy policy.

Terms and modifications to this privacy policy

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time, in Our sole discretion and We will post any new versions on the Site. If We make any material changes in the way that We use Your Personal Information, We will notify You by sending an e-mail to the last e-mail address that You provided to Us and/or by posting notice of the changes on the Site. Any such changes will be effective upon the earlier of five (5) calendar days following Our dispatch of an e-mail notice to You or five (5) calendar days following Our posting of notice of the changes on Our website.
